PASSION SOURIRE, PARTNER OF THE CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN
At Passion Sourire, your dental clinic in Vaudreuil-Dorion, we believe it's important that as many patients as possible have access to quality dental care. That's why we're part of the new Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), a public insurance program available since May 2024. This program, which will be gradually rolled out over the next year, offers dental coverage to Canadians who do not have a private insurance policy and whose family income is $90,000 or less per year.
Thanks to the CDCP, the dental expenses of eligible individuals will be partially covered, enabling them to receive the care they need. We are also accepting new patients. In this way, we can help more residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion and the surrounding area keep their smiles healthy.
So don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with our team, who are passionate about oral health!
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Contact us, clearly indicating that you are covered by the RCSD. The secretary will then take the time to explain how to proceed and how your next appointment will be scheduled. We'll also be able to answer any questions you may have about treatment rates and the amounts reimbursed by the RCSD. This will enable you to better plan your care and costs.

INFORMATION ON THE CANADIAN DENTAL CARE
PLAN
This new public dental insurance program will be available to all eligible Canadians in 2025. The program will be rolled out in phases. Eventually, those eligible (see information below) will only have to pay a portion of their dental care costs, with the remainder reimbursed by the CDDN. The percentage reimbursed by the government will vary according to your annual family income.
To benefit from this public insurance, you must first submit an application. A letter will normally be sent to eligible individuals in the first phases of the program's roll-out. An insurance card and welcome kit will be sent to you once the application has been made and accepted. Thereafter, you won't have to make any claims: when you pay for your dental care, we'll process the claim directly with Sun Life, which acts as the service provider for the DDSR. All you have to do is pay the balance of the costs, i.e. the portion not covered by the public plan.
For more information and to find out if you are eligible, visit https://www.canada.ca/fr/services/prestations/dentaire/regime-soins-dentaires.html. If you have more specific questions or would like to know more about the procedure in place at our clinic, please contact us. Our reception staff will be happy to answer your specific questions.

AMOUNTS COVERED AND PAYMENTS
Even if your coverage is 100%, you will still have to pay a fee, since the RCSD fee schedule is not equivalent to the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec (ACDQ) fee schedule on which we base our prices. You will therefore have to pay the difference between the actual treatment costs and the amount covered.
At the time of your dental treatment, we will proceed directly to claim reimbursement from the RCSD, and the answer will be immediately available. You will then have to pay the remaining amount, according to our usual payment terms.
