For some of you, you’ve probably already noticed the many grooves and crevices on the biting/occlusal of your molars and premolars. Theses grooves and crevices can run deep and can harbour plaque and bacteria in areas where a toothbrush can’t reach, making it easier for cavities to develop in those teeth.

A resin-based dental sealant can fill in these grooves and crevices which will prevent food and bacteria from accumulating there. We recommend applying the sealant to protect the molars and premolars once as they erupt into the mouth. Rest assured dental sealants are safe for everyone.
