Caring for your night guard

  • Thoroughly brush and floss before inserting your night guard
  • Run night guard under warm water before insertion (check with your dentist if this step is necessary, as not all night guards are made with the same material)
  • When removing your night guard, pull from both sides using equal force
  • After each use, make sure to thoroughly clean your night guard under running water with your toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste
  • Store your night guard upside down in its case and let it dry. When it is not in your mouth, it should be in its case
  • The color of your night guard can vary from transparent to slightly opaque
  • Keep out of reach from animals and children
